West Advisory Group's Walt West Appointed to La Roche University Board of Trustees

PITTSBURGH, PA — June 1, 2026 — West Advisory Group is proud to announce that Founder and CEO Walt West has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of La Roche University.

The appointment was announced by La Roche University on June 1, 2026, alongside the addition of two other distinguished trustees. As a member of the Board, Walt will help support the University’s mission, strategic growth, and commitment to student success.

Walt brings decades of leadership experience to the Board through his work as Founder and CEO of West Advisory Group, a retirement-focused financial planning firm serving individuals and families throughout Pennsylvania. He is also the Co-Founder of The Prepare Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing retirement education programs that help individuals navigate life’s transitions with confidence.

In recent years, Walt has developed a strong relationship with La Roche University through collaborations with faculty and campus leaders, including initiatives with the Introcaso Center for Lifelong Learning and the Student Operated Learning Venture & Experience (SOLVE) Center. These efforts have focused on enhancing financial wellness, career readiness, and experiential learning opportunities for students.
