ERIE, PA — September 3, 2024 — In support of Hunger Action Month, West Advisory Group proudly collaborated with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania to raise awareness about food insecurity and inspire community involvement through a dedicated social media campaign.

The campaign, themed “I Took Action, You Can Too,” featured members of the West Advisory Group team sharing photos, messages, and videos about how they were taking action against hunger—and encouraging others to do the same. From food drives to volunteer hours, the campaign helped spark important conversations across the Erie and Pittsburgh regions about the impact one person can have.

“Our team is always looking for ways to give back, and Hunger Action Month gave us the perfect opportunity to align our community values with a cause that affects thousands right here in our backyard,” said Walt West, Founder and CEO of West Advisory Group. “By using our platforms to share the message, we hoped to encourage others to step up, speak out, and get involved.”

Hunger Action Month is an annual nationwide initiative spearheaded by Feeding America to bring attention to the pervasive issue of food insecurity. Through their collaborative efforts with Second Harvest, West Advisory Group extended its mission of service beyond financial planning and into meaningful community action.
