Get to Know Walt
Walter is our Senior Financial Specialist and the founder of the West Advisory Group.
He spends the majority of his time on client acquisitions, reviews, and operations. His normal day starts early and ends late and is always a little different, but Walter loves the challenge!
All of this hard work is spent on helping his clients solve their investment problems and building roadmaps for their future. He finds his work extremely gratifying and loves coming up with new, cutting-edge ideas and strategies.
He is passionate about bringing financial literacy to everyone and does this through independent and creative financial plans.
More than just being interested in retirement planning, Walter has a much more personal connection to his career.
Growing up, his great aunt focused her life on taking care of her family and was excited to leave a lifetime of wealth to her church and family. Unfortunately, she had to spend the remainder of her life in a nursing home, where she was forced to use most of her savings.
Walter saw the impact this had on those around him and vowed to help others be prepared for situations like these. This experience was one of the motivations behind his goal of serving as many people as possible as he helps them pursue their goals.
Walter is a problem solver at heart and educates his clients along the way. His clients often call him caring and state that he goes out of his way to get the job done.
Outside of the office, Walter enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He considers his family to be his everything and strives to provide them the best environment possible.
In addition to spending time with family, Walter enjoys playing the drums, making his own wine (and enjoying it, of course!), and being outdoors. He can often be found golfing, fishing, boating, and biking.
