Eric brings a breadth of experience to his clients. Most recently Eric is a Vice-President at a financial advisory firm catering to the unique needs of athletes, entertainers, and other high net worth individuals where he focuses on life insurance planning and asset protection strategies. Prior to that he was with New York Life insurance company where he was a member of Eagle Strategies Corporation, a designation held by 1% of all New York Life Agents. He was also the preferred provider of key executive benefits to The Pittsburgh Technology Council working through their employee benefits channel and was recognized by New York Life joining The Executive Council in recognition for outstanding achievement in 2006.

Eric has over 15 years experience in financial sales and operations including 4 years with Merrill Lynch splitting his time between the Private Wealth Management retail sales division and the Corporate and Institutional Client Group. Eric currently holds Series 66 licenses as well as his Life, Accident and Health, and Property and Casualty insurance licenses. Before joining Merrill Lynch, he was the Managing Director of Institutional Sales for a boutique macro-economic consulting firm headquartered in Santa Monica, California. Prior to that, Eric was in new business development with a Pittsburgh-based financial software development firm where he managed the design and rollout of technology applications for Fortune 500 companies and both state and sovereign governments. Mr. Glassbrenner also spent 3 years as Director of Sales and Marketing for a start-up project at The Hillman Company, the venture capital and global holding company owned by Pittsburgh industrialist Henry Hillman. Eric started his career at Merrill Lynch in institutional sales trading block equity and Rule 144 stock for asset managers, pension funds, corporate executives, and other high net worth individuals.

Eric has been a guest speaker at The Heinz School of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University on topics dealing with new technology and its impact on price discovery and transparency in the financial markets. He is also a professional hockey scout for Uptown Sports Management out of Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Eric and his two beautiful daughters reside in the Upper St. Clair suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
