3:00pm to 6:00pm
Proper disposal of important documents is crucial in safeguarding sensitive information from falling into the wrong hands. Throwing them in the trash or recycling bin can expose confidential data to identity theft, fraud, and other forms of cybercrime. This is where shredding comes in as an effective and secure solution for document destruction.
Shredding ensures that personal and business information is permanently destroyed, making it impossible for anyone to reconstruct the documents. As a way of encouraging individuals and businesses to dispose of their sensitive documents safely, we are hosting a Shred Day event where we will provide on-site shredding services. Our event is a great opportunity for people to securely dispose of their confidential documents and protect themselves against identity theft and other crimes.
This is a free event, and anyone and everyone is welcome to come and participate. Not only will we have a Shred America Truck where we shred your important documents on site, we’ll have food, refreshments, and 50/50 raffle.
We're partnering with North Hills Community Outreach to host our Community Shred Day to help you get rid of your important documents safely and securely. We would love for you, your friends, family, and neighbors to join us for a fun, productive day!

How We're Helping NHCO
At our Pittsburgh Shred Day, we will also be taking donations for the North Hills Community Outreach. Throughout the year, they have various collection calls for specific items the community is in need of.
SNAP benefits cannot be used to purchase cleaning supplies. These items can be an extra expense that many low-income families cannot afford. North Hills Community Outreach is holding a collection so they can provide each family with a bag of cleaning supplies to make their home sparkle.
